1. Install XAMPP and Visual Studio Code.

1. Extract the project ZIP file into the XAMPP htdocs directory. For example:

C:\xampp\htdocs\Society Management System

1. Open the extracted project folder in Visual Studio Code.

1. Open the XAMPP Control Panel and start Apache and MySQL.

1. Open phpMyAdmin in your browser.

1. Create a database named:

armentum

1. Import the project file:

armentum.sql

1. Open the database configuration file:

includes/config.php

1. Verify the database connection settings:

$username = "root";

$password = "";

$dsn = "mysql:host=localhost;dbname=armentum";

1. Update the database credentials if your local MySQL configuration differs.

1. Open the project through your local web server using the extracted project folder name in the URL.

1. Access the member portal from the project directory and the administrator interface from its admin/ subdirectory.
