- Extract the project ZIP file and locate the Company-Visitor-Management-System folder.
- Copy the folder into the XAMPP htdocs directory:
C:\xampp\htdocs\Company-Visitor-Management-System
- Start Apache and MySQL from the XAMPP Control Panel.
- Open phpMyAdmin:
http://localhost/phpmyadmin/
- Create a MySQL database named:
cvdb
- Select the cvdb database and import the SQL file:
Database/ccbd_visitor.sql
- Open the project folder in Visual Studio Code.
- Check the database connection configuration and ensure the database name and MySQL credentials match your local setup.
- Open the project in your browser:
http://localhost/Company-Visitor-Management-System/
- Verify the default login credentials and database connection file from the supplied project files.
